How does offline access work in the Trip Wallet?
Gather OutThere automatically caches all event logistics, gate codes, campsite numbers, and host phone numbers to your device storage whenever you open an event. When you enter areas with zero cell reception, you can open the Trip Wallet anytime without an internet connection.
What is Caravan Live Radar and when is my location shared?
Caravan Radar is strictly opt-in and designed for the day of an event. When you tap "Broadcast Location" inside Mission Control, your coordinates, ETA, and battery percentage are shared exclusively with approved attendees of that gathering. You can tap "Stop" at any time. OutThere never shares your location when you are not actively broadcasting.
How do I invite friends who don't have the app yet?
Tap "Invite" or "Share" on any gathering. You can share a 6-character shortcode, a universal web link (e.g. gatheroutthere.com/join/CODE), or a QR code. Friends can view the invite on any mobile browser and RSVP immediately.
How do I delete my account and personal data?
You can permanently erase your account directly within the app: open the Profile tab, tap Settings > Delete Account, and confirm. All personal profile records, RSVPs, and associated event data will be permanently wiped from our database.
How is Gather OutThere monetized? Are there fees or ads?
Gather OutThere is completely free to use. To support server infrastructure and development, we display non-intrusive programmatic advertising (via Google Ad Manager) and may introduce curated sponsored events and brand partnerships as our community grows. We never sell your personal data.
